Fermentation residue refinement plant converts fermentation residue (e.g. from biogas plants, biogas parks and organic processes) into marketable products.
Advantages
- Complete use of heat from the cogeneration units at any time of the year due to special dimensions of the thermal de-watering process.
- No external energy required
- Volume reduction and reduction of transport and storage requirements to a minimum
- Creation of products which are economically marketable (pellets, fertiliser)
- The electricity is fed into the grid according to the EEC directives. The additional waste heat is used together with the cogeneration bonus to completely dry the digestate.
